intersection of offense & defense
Motivated information security student in my final year at Gokstad Akademiet with solid competence in cybersecurity. I have hands-on experience with tools like Wireshark, Metasploit, Splunk, and Wazuh, and I'm currently self-studying AWS Cloud Security Architecture.
Experienced in phishing simulations, vulnerability management, and network security. I document everything I learn — from home lab experiments to CTF writeups — which is exactly why this blog exists.

Final Year Capstone: Cyberattack Simulation & SIEM Detection with Wazuh
Multi-stage cyberattack simulation in a controlled homelab — deploying Wazuh SIEM to detect, analyze, and respond to each attack phase. Covers payload execution detection (T1059.001), File Integrity Monitoring, PowerShell monitoring, and planned stages for credential dumping and C2 traffic mitigation.
Home Lab: SIEM & File Integrity Monitoring with Wazuh
Established a home lab to implement a full SIEM solution with Wazuh. Installed and configured the Wazuh server, deployed agents on endpoints to collect and analyze security data, and focused on File Integrity Monitoring (FIM) to detect unauthorized changes in critical system files. Tested detection and alerting rules for robust threat response.
Gokstad Collective — Student Carpooling App
Developed a carpooling mobile application for students traveling from Sandvika to Sandefjord for Gokstad Akademiet. Built with Glide, the app manages passengers, trips, and payments — solving real transportation challenges for fellow students and contributing to a more sustainable and cost-effective commute.
Python Game Development: Tetris Clone
Independently developed a fully functional Tetris game using Python to demonstrate programming logic and problem-solving skills. A hands-on exercise in object-oriented design, game loops, and event handling.
Linux Teaching Assignment — OverTheWire Bandit
Designed and delivered a hands-on Linux workshop for first-year students at Gokstad Akademiet using OverTheWire Bandit — a progressive wargame that teaches real Linux command-line skills through security challenges. Guided students through SSH, file navigation, permissions, grep, and basic scripting in a practical, gamified environment.
